Meet Rosemary // Raine & Skye

I met Rosemary several months ago when she first began her business and let me tell you... this lady just keeps pulling some really great stuff outa nowhere and continues to "wow" everyone! She's made a name for herself because of her dedication to quality and her ability to keep recreating and creating new things!! She's humble, a hard worker, and a visionary. She knows how to cut and sew leather like a champ! I'm honored to be able to introduce you to her and her rad shop!

fabric knot bow clip

This pink champagne color is ridic! The leather is perfect too!

Navy leather bow...she wears this one with her uniform to school almost daily!

I love how super stretchy and soft this turban style headband is! Plus we love aztec prints!

I mean seriously... big bows, little bows, leather bows, fabric bows, headbands... you name it!! you HAVE to check out her shop on etsy >> www.raineandskye.com << because its too good to pass up (and so are the prices!) plus she's offering an exclusive 20% off using the code: LITTLESLIFE.  You can also visit her bigcartel site (raineandskye.bigcartel.com) and receive free shipping by using the same code! Also she has some crazy good stuff cooking up (cough, cough.. moccs and little purses), so I'd highly advise you follow her on instagram to get the latest @raineandskye!!

Once again I had a blast interviewing a really awesome chick so here is the little Q & A sesh we had!

(little Brooklyn's crown from un petit meow)

I mean... seriously can it get any cuter people?!

How did Raine & Skye come about?
Totally was just like a spur of the moment I was making headbands for my daughter. Someone asked if I sold them never thought of it. Tried it and here I am now. It's crazy because I thought maybe a month tops I do this.

Who or what would you say has been your biggest inspiration along the way?
My daughter Brooklyn I would say my biggest inspiration. Even though she is little she is very colorful. And if you have followed me from the beginning my shop dramatically changed just like her as she was growing. With each new "baby phase" I tried something new to incorporate who she was becoming. I than had my 2nd baby girl Kennedy in October and with her joining the family I worked even harder to capture them in my work.

What's a typical day in the life of Rosemary?
5am wake up call
5:30-7: emails, make lists of things, wake up my husband
7:30-8am: girls wake up
8-10: breakfast, work, playtime
10am: nap time for Kennedy
10-12: clean, eat, shower, work.
12: Kennedy is awake & Brooklyn is going to sleep.
12-2: Brooklyn is napping. Kennedy is playing or hanging out. i work.
3: make dinner. clean a bit more.
4: snack time for the girls.
5-6: eat dinner.
7-9: family time.
10-1am work.
1-5am: sleep.

What is one of your biggest goals for this year?
I have ideas and goals but I think my main goal is to find a really good balance between work and family. I never saw myself to this point so I'm like the possibilities are endless.

If there's one thing you've learned from creating this business from the ground up that you'd want to share, what would it be?
Many things I want to share. I do want to just shed the light and rainbows. But I think we need to address the part no one wants to talk about. I learned many things but one that truly has stuck with me is we are all SAHMs working for a cause. It's completely preposterous to see grown women turn into 14 year old girls. Goes to show a woman at any age is just a little girl inside. We truly need to empower one another and work together. Not break apart and belittle one another. This is what I want to share. If your just starting out don't loose sight of your vision. Don't loose focus and ignore the negative. that's what I want to share. a tad on the darker side isn't it?

Got any hidden talents?
I can tie a cherry stem into a knot! too much?

Something that is top priority on your bucket list.
just grow old with my husband and watch out girls grow.  that's what i want more than anything.

I just love her honesty and genuine heart! Its not everyday you meet some like her! I'm happy that we met and that I've gotten to know her better! Thanks for sharing Rosemary! Don't forget to check out her shop(s) and IG people! You will be hooked for life I tell ya!!
